Self-help groups for mothers with small children and specific help and support to women suffering from post-natal depression.

The Samaritans is a registered charity based in the UK and Republic of Ireland that provides confidential emotional support to any person who is suicidal or despairing; and that increases public awareness of issues around suicide and depression.

Women at Risk is working with an organisation called Family Focus to provide support for vulnerable mothers and their children. The warm family environment at Family Focus where mothers can meet and receive counselling and companionship, helps them to regain confidence and learn vital parenting skills. Family Focus particularly supports women who could not afford to look for help anywhere else
