Bluemummies Diaries BLUE MUMMY DIARIESBridget Jones move over, I think NOT !!!! This is the diaries of me Blue Mummy otherwise known as Lisa Pedder-Smith. Right let me introduce myself. NAME : Lisa Pedder-Smith DOB: 16 November 1975 (AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH the BIG 30 this year) FAMILY: Married to Phil Smith now Pedder-Smith a mad Irish man(with an English accent) who's picture is on the sanity savers page. He is 34 this year, works as an office manager for a marquee company. Kian born 27 July 2002 normal pregnancy, long labour, epidural and forceps delivery. Suffered with colic. Diagnosed with pnd at the end of Oct 2002 but was in denial prior to this. Kaelin born 4 May 2004 I was sure he was a girl whilst I was pregnant!!!, god bless him. He also suffered with Colic and I knew a lot earlier than I did with Kian that I was suffering with depression. CAREER: I work in an Intensive Care Unit as a qualified nurse HOBBIES: Playing football but no good at it yet!!!, E-Bay sell real nappies and baby items http://stores.ebay.co.uk/BOUNCY-BOTTOMS MEDICATION: Sertaline 150mg (Lustural), Microgynon contraceptive pill (no more babies for me or the men in the white coats will take me away forever) SUPPORT: This is where the problem lies as I lack local support. However I do have a work friend whom I would like to thank hugely for her help and support and hope she has had some good practice for when her 1st grandchild arrives later this year. Thanks Rosemarie Amphlett. I would also like to thank my GP Dr Sarah Leonard for her support and help it has meant a lot. She sees me once a month or more frequently. I need to move into the GP surgery so much so that all the receptionists are on first name terms. Thanks for putting up with the long faces. Another big help and support to me has been a lady called Rosemary Fletton who has been seeing regularly from mad to nearly sane!!!! and helped me to return to work on a phased return twice. Rosemary is the occupational Health Nurse Manager where I work. Thanks for not giving up on me. I have saved the best until last and would like to say a HUGE thanks to an old work friend and now very good friend. Noreen Daly. Noreen is another mad Irish woman (must attract them!!!!!!) she is a couple of years younger than me and has a daughter called Emily who is 3. Noreen and I would escape from the four walls of our houses and take the kids out together. Emily and Kian are the best of friends in fact they are the terrible two when they are together!!!! Unfortunately Noreen has now moved up North (near Liverpool) and is greatly missed already only moved the beginning of March 2005. Thanks Noreen keep in touch and I love playing solitaire with you now on msn.
Noreen and Neve Emily's 3rd Birthday Party Family would support if they were local but unfortunately they are not. My mum and step Dad live over 2 hours away in sunny Mablethorpe. My Dad lives in the USA and my in laws live in Ireland. It will sound sad but I feel like billy no mates as I have no close friends local either.
I will be keeping a regular update on my progress, with my feelings at the time etc. Find this on this page Bluemummy now I would also like to say how proud I am of my Brother Lee Pedder. Lee is a recovering alcoholic currently in rehab and doing really well. Well done Lee and you know where we are when you need us. I know the road has been rough but you will get there you can cope keep going.
