Baby Crying Poem

BABY CRYING POEM

All this baby seems to do is cry all day

Its a phase it will pass is what people say

But that is not what you want to hear

When the baby is crying loud in your ear

Alone with a baby and a distressing cry

You try and try to understand why

Is he hungry, cold or wet

The reason behind it is what you must get

You go through the list and get to the end

He's still crying and driving you round the bend

You still don't know the reason why

You want to run away and hide

Put him in another room

The crying will end soon

But soon never does come

You can't escape, there's no where to run

You shout at the baby and then feel guilty

He's crying now because of me

There is only so much that you can take

But I'm doing fine is what you fake

Even if you take him out

People look to see what the crying is about

You feel their eyes looking at you

You really don't know what to do

They will look at you and they can't see

You saying the one that needs help is me
